Meet the right partners in PAT and bioprocessing, from Berlin to Chicago and beyond.
Organized by Bio-PAT e.V., a pioneering cooperation network advancing Process Analytical Technology (PAT) in bioprocesses across industrial biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, nutrition, environmental technology, and bioenergy. Join us online on November 17-20, 2026, as part of Transfer Week Berlin-Brandenburg, with the Bio-PAT program on November 17-18 and Berlin-Chicago sessions on November 18-19. Participation is free and low-commitment: attend as much or as little as suits you, and explore international collaboration without travel.
Keynote and featured talks by Stefan Junne (Aalborg University), Moritz von Stosch (HNA Bioventures), Peter Neubauer (TU Berlin; Chair of Bio-PAT e.V.), Jens-Uwe Repke (TU Berlin; Vice-President Research and Transfer) and Florian W. König-Huber (TissUse GmbH). Pitches and full speaker list to be announced.
Use the Bio-PAT Forum to:
- learn about the latest innovations in PAT and bioprocessing
- meet experts and build connections across the PAT ecosystem
- explore transatlantic collaboration with research groups from Berlin and Chicago
- schedule curated 1:1 meetings with potential partners for collaboration, technology evaluation, or joint projects
- optionally, present your own company or project in a short pitch
New in 2026: Berlin-Chicago sessions. In cooperation with the Berlin University Alliance’s Berlin-Chicago STEM partnership (BCT-STEM), which links Berlin researchers with the University of Chicago and Northwestern University, the Forum adds sessions where research groups from both cities present their work in biotechnology, life sciences, and molecular engineering. One registration covers all days.
